Feedback on student work
On Monday, you will get a list of the work that you have completed so far and the work that you still need to complete.
For assessment by start of class next Monday
- Project 1 (6 jobs) for International Travel Services
- Class wiki work
- Your personal page
- Your review of a cool school tool website
Activity 1
International Travel Services Project 1
So far you should have completed Jobs 1 to 4.

- Use a meal allowance of $150 per day and try to keep the overall costs uder $2000.
- The business trip will depoart Melbourne on Monday morning, September 21, 2009, flies to Brisbane for three days of meetings, and returns on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 late in the afternoon (last meeting does not finish until 1:30 p.m.
Upload your Jobs 1 - 6 to the media section of your personal Wordpress blog.
Due by start of class next Monday. Hand up a print copy with your name and class and date on it in a footer. Post a link to the class blog to each of the projects in your Wordpress personal blog.
Activity 2 Using the class wiki
- Create your own page in the class wiki.
- Go to the page section and look for Cool Tools for Schools table. Add a short review of the website assigned to you to this page. Include your name in the heading.
- Use the five page handout from last week and try the following -
- (1) make a personal page,
- (2) edit the page,
- (3) create a link from one wiki page to another,
- (4) link to an outside web page,
- (5) upload a document and link it to your page,
- (6) add a graphic to your page,
- (7) embed a You tube video,
- (8) embed a sound URL (see how you go with this one),
- (9) adda google gadget,
- (10) add a table.
Due by start of class next Monday. Post a link to the class blog to your personal page in the class wiki that shows Steps 1 - 10 from above in Activity 2.
