Feedback from the comments from last Thursday
It was interesting to read the comments that you made describing yourselves and also commenting back to others.

I was able to learn things from you and about you that I normally would miss out on. I found out what cane ball was - Moo said, "My favourate sports are football and caneball." I learned that I will have a very hard time to convince Cameron to barrack for Collingwood Magpies instead of the Carlton Blues. Or he might convince me to become a Blues fan.

Plans for the class blog over the next two weeks

• Look at this blog as an example of the way that it could be organised and how you can use links in your posts to let readers follow the link if they want to.
• We will add more comments to each new post for this week.
• We will open the blog up next week so that everybody can be an author and so that we can reply to individual posts.
• Set up your own blog using your Google account.
• Take part in an international student blog competition that begins in March.

(1) Typing Activity

• Go to this website and complete Lesson 2 for this week up to a speed of 8wpm. and only 1 error per minute. You need to be able to show me this by the start of class next Monday.
  

(2) Starting with Word 2007

• One of the books that is really good for learning Office 2007 is called The 2007 Stable Office 2007 by Paul Hawking, Brendan McCarthy and Con Nikakis. You can check this out from the library or you buy it from the bookstore.
