Welcome back! Week 2 of Unit 2

Activity 1
We are starting off with a bit of WP, SS and DB revision by trying these activities for a little while:

1. Practical activity 1 Word Processing (WP)
   
2. Practical activity 1 Spreadsheet (SS)
   
3. Practical activity 1 Database (DB)
   

As you complete each activity, add your name, class and date to a footer. Print out two copies. Keep one for yourself and please hand the other one up to me to put into your student file.


Activity 2
Here is a bit of revision for using Gmail.
Open up your gmail account and create three different labels that you can use - such as VET Business, Edublogger, Blogging tips (These are some of my labels that I use to organise my emails).

Activity 3
Here are some specific things that I want you to try to create on your personal blog. Have a look at this site and then add these items below to your personal blog. When you have done this, post a link to your work on the class blog. Include:

1. A slide show in the sidebar with random photos of teddy bears.
2. Another slide show in the sidebar with photos from your Picasa web albums.
3. A post that has an embedded slide show in three different sizes - 288 px, 400 px and 800 px.

They should look like this below:






You can see the the 800 px is more of a problem because it covers up the sidebar on the right.
