Week 5 Thursday, March 5, 2009

In class today

First, there will be thirty minutes of typing practice for those who need it. By next Thursday, you must be able to type 12 wpm on Lesson Three Review with no more than 1 mistake per minute average.

Second, if you are satisfied with your typing speed, then see me about a multimedia assignment that you can try during this time as well. It has you creating a story with 8 to 10 images, adding captions and sound and using PowerPoint, Photostory and Picasa to create it and then compare the three programs that you have used.

Third, there will be a detailed explanation of using tabs and leaders for the last three or four Skills Exercises.

Fourth, those of you that are listed as contributors on the class blog, please create a post of your own that will invite comments from your classmates. Cam, you are not allowed to post derisive comments about Collingwood.

Students that are not yet signed up as contributors will be asked to add comments to my posts and one of the other contributors posts.

Fifth, If you have already created your own blog, post the website address as a comment and then I will create a list of all the students in the sidebar that have their own blog.

Last, you go home, I go home, we all go home!
