Goals for this class

1. Discuss student reports during class.
2. Short test on communication module.
3. Continue work on Simple Spreadsheet Module.

Student Reports

The student progress reports show that only a few students in this class consistently hand up the work asked for on a weekly basis. Several of you have failed the first module simply because you have not submitted enough work.

For these people, you will need to have an interview with me an creqte a stuent work plan before any further work will be accepted for completion of this unit.

The following list shows the work that I expected on a week to week basis for Communication Module 1. The first ones are the ones required for assessment:

1. Student outline notes from the website.
2. Activity answers.
3. Resume
4. MS Word flyer and Notice
5. Class blog posts and comments
6. Personal blog and comments
7. Create answers and questions for module test and post them into the class blog.

Listed below is some of the other work that was to be done in and out of class:

• MS Word Skills Exercises 1 – 21
• Google Maps
• Compression of jpegs
• Google Groups
• Gmail in HTML
• Use of Picasa

Module 1 Test

This test is just to get you used to studying for a test again. This one has been made easier because the questions and answers are from the class blog.

For assessment

Activity 1 from the NSW website is due at the end of class on Thursday, april 2 both as an electronic version and as a hard copy with your name and date in the footer.
